Levels of eLearning
If you have worked with eLearning before, you've probably heard of the "levels of eLearning". But what are they?

One way eLearning courses can be classified is according to the level of interactivity the course offers. According to these levels, you can determine how interactive you want your eLearning to be. The more interactive a course is doesn't necessarily mean it is more effective. Each level has it's uses. When determining which level is right for you, it would depend on a number of factors such as target audience, the nature of the content and your budget.
Level 1: Passive With No Interactives
You could refer to this as the "click next" style of eLeaning. It has next to no interaction and typically only includes the next and back buttons. The quiz is usually multiple-choice and true-or-false questions. The course is linear and the learner acts entirely as an information receiver. Usually this type of eLearning is quick to create and an affordable choice if you only need to convey some basic concepts and under a tight budget. This also means these types of eLearning are typically boring and not always effective.
